European and World Rally Championship driver Marty McCormack and historic competitor James Slaughter will enter the MSA British Rally Championship this year under the Tiger Risk Rally Team banner.
Marty McCormack will use his tried and tested Skoda Fabia S2000 seen on the ERC and WRC stages while Slaughter will campaign his newly acquired Ford Fiesta R5 in the 2016 BRC season.
“There’s a lot of good drivers in good cars for the BRC this year and it will be tough. I will be at a slight disadvantage in terms of power but I have a lot of experience in the Skoda and hope the confidence overcomes the power deficit,” enthused McCormack.
James Slaughter will stay with the Ford brand after campaigning a historic Escort and will now campaign a Fiesta R5 run by MSL.
“The BRC is about the best cars, the technology and being able to drive them,” explained Slaughter. “It was almost a no brainer when I was deciding what to do this year and I look forward to becoming Marty’s team-mate in the BRC this year.”
