David Bogie has joined Max Vatanen and Rhys Yates as the latest driver to commit to the British Rally Championship in 2016.
“I think the BRC has all the right ingredients to make it a good championship and it has all the right people behind it,” he said.
“They are all good events (on the calendar) and I think it’s time the English series headed north as it has some brilliant events. I think its refreshing for the championship to head north and to take on some of the best stages in Scotland and Northern England.”
“Of course everything is subject to change, but we’re aiming at a campaign in the BRC next year.
“Last time we did it (2011) we managed to win the title, and another British championship would mean a huge amount to me.
“it ticks the boxes for us. The costs are at a reasonable level and its fits in with work and my spare time.”
