The British Rally Championship is devastated to hear of the loss of Irishman Craig Breen on Thursday (13th April 2023).
At a young age, the likeable driver had cut his teeth in the British Rally Championship, piloting Fiesta ST in 2009 and going on to win the Ford Fiesta Sporting Trophy later that year.
In 2010, he returned with the spectacular Fiesta S2000 before starting his international career where he would go on to flourish at the sport’s top level.
This season, he would rejoin the Hyundai Motorsport squad in a partial programme behind the wheel of the i20 N Rally1.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Craig’s family and of course, the wider motorsport community that will undoubtedly be mourning the loss of the talented driver.
