Ford Fiesta R2 pilot Mike East will join the chase for the National Rally Title this weekend, as he and co-driver Glyn Thomas sign up ahead of the Beatson’s Building supplies Jim Clark.
The Surrey based driver has enjoyed a varied time behind the wheel, with his career spanning outings in a Rover 200 and Ford Escort MK2 since his debut in 2010. More recently, East has campaigned a Ford Fiesta R2 and has kicked his year off in style, with a class win at the Corbeau Seats Tendring and Clacton Rally.
Now, East and former BRC Challenge champion co-driver Thomas will contest the Scottish Borders event and bid for National honours on their first outing in the series.
