Michelin Motorsport has officially announced its return to the Probite British Rally Championship (BRC) for the 2025 season, securing its position as one of the three tyre manufacturers signed up for the prestigious series.
Building on its success in 2024, where Michelin-supported driver Chris Ingram clinched the BRC title, the brand is set to provide top-tier tyre technology and expertise to a selection of front-running competitors. With a strong roster of drivers in its lineup, Michelin aims to once again play a pivotal role in shaping the championship battle.
“We are thrilled to return to the British Rally Championship and build on the championship victories of 2022 and 2024,” said Michelin Motorsport Manager, Tim Hoare.
“Last season, we demonstrated our ability to provide not only rally winning tyres, but title winning tyres too by supporting Chris Ingram’s successful year in the Toyota amongst others. In 2025, we are prepared to push the limits once again and give our drivers the best possible tyres to challenge for the championship.
“We welcome 2024 runner up William Creighton, plus four-time champion Keith Cronin, and of course our commitment to the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup IRE & UK also continues. ”
Michelin’s involvement brings added prestige to the BRC. Michelin won the FIA European Rally Championship Tyre Manufacturers Championship title in 2024 and will be bringing this same range of Asphalt and Gravel tyres to the BRC in 2025. With its renowned expertise in tyre development, Michelin’s presence ensures that teams and drivers will have access to high-performance rubber suited to the diverse and demanding rally conditions across the UK.
