Ahead of the second round of the Prestone MSA British Rally Championship – the Renties Ypres Rally, the Belgian event organisers have now confirmed that crews with non-homologated cars can contest the legendary event.
Any MSA logbook cars will be eligible for the 21-23 June event allowing more British drivers to join the BRC action for the prestigious Tarmac event.
“The Belgian federation and the Ypres Rally have been incredibly supportive,” explained Prestone MSA British Rally Championship Manager Iain Campbell.
“If a crew is registered for the BRC and the car has a Motor Sports Association logbook, it’s allowed, and that is great. We hope this excellent news will attract more competitors to come and join us for this really spectacular event.”
