Following a successful season of free-to-air television in 2024, the Probite British Rally Championship (BRC) will continue its partnership with ITV4 and ITVX into 2025, ensuring the UK’s premier rally series remains accessible to fans across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
The multi-year deal, which saw the BRC return to terrestrial television for the first time since 2018, proved to be a resounding success in its debut year. The enhanced media package delivered a dedicated one-hour highlights show on ITV4 after each round, with repeat broadcasts and an end-of-season review capturing the drama of the championship. The partnership also allowed rally fans to enjoy the action on demand via ITVX, extending the reach of the championship beyond the events.
Building on this momentum, the 2025 season will once again feature breathtaking stage-side footage, immersive onboard camera shots, and insightful interviews, offering an in-depth look into the championship’s title fight. The series will continue to highlight all categories, ensuring that every registered contender, sponsor, and host region benefits from national exposure.
Hollie McRae will once again be the ‘boots on the ground’ host, capturing all the latest news and developments from the drivers and teams, whilst BTCC host David Addison provides the commentary throughout the season.
“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with ITV4 and ITVX into 2025,” said Reece Tarren, Probite British Rally Championship Manager. “The success of our return to mainstream television last year demonstrated the huge appetite for rallying in the UK, and this extension allows us to build on that. The visibility this partnership provides is invaluable to our competitors, sponsors, and the sport as a whole.”
The 2025 Probite British Rally Championship will once again take place across England, Scotland, and Wales, with an exciting calendar of six rounds. The BRC1 top-flight class, Junior BRC category, and National and Open championships will all return to battle it out for rallying supremacy. With the continued partnership with ITV, the championship is set to further cement its place as a must-watch motorsport series in the UK.
