The reinvigorated Motorsport UK British Rally Championship (BRC) will kick-start its 2024 season in style at Autosport International (11-14 January 2024), where the new-look series officially launches its title sponsorship with leading performance brake manufacturer, Probite.
Not only will the BRC showcase its new look ahead of the 2024 season at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC), but it will also officially open its registrations for the pending campaign, as well as displaying a range of cars from the 2023 season, plus some newcomers destined for the stages.
The Championship will also unveil further details about the changes for 2024. This will include a significantly ramped-up media package and more information on its heavily reduced registration fees and pricing structure. A revamp to the National Rally Title class structure will be announced, offering the perfect home for non-homologated cars in all categories, looking to step up to the high-profile BRC events.
The BRC will exhibit at the Autosport International for the first time since 2018 and the now traditional season curtain raiser will offer fans, followers and competitors the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the championship’s protagonists and find out more about the forthcoming season.
Pride of place amongst the iconic cars on display in Hall 3, Stand 3550 will be bolstered by top-flight Rally2 machinery and examples from the Junior BRC Rally4 category.
There is also hoped to be a host of leading competitors stopping by the stand throughout the show, all eager to make announcements for what is shaping up to be a spectacular, new-look season ahead. Representatives from each of the championship’s six rounds will also be present on Saturday to talk through outline plans of their events.
The BRC will take centre stage on Thursday morning and Saturday afternoon, as the championship heads for the main Autosport Stage. The opening day will offer the opportunity to talk through the host of changes to the championship to the show crowd, whilst Saturday sees the series officially crown its champions on the stage itself.

The 2024 BRC season will be open to rally cars conforming to Rally2, Rally3, Rally4 and Rally5 FIA-homologated categories. The top-drawer BRC1 category will see the exciting Rally2 cars do battle at the front of the field; right-hand-drive versions are also accepted.
The Junior BRC will see contenders in Rally4, Rally5 or older specification cars vie for the coveted title, with free entries into each round of the 2025 BRC up for grabs for the champion.
The Motorsport UK National Rally Title for non-homologated cars also returns but will run alongside the new Motorsport UK Open Title, which will house R5 and WRC machinery. All crews will compete in the same events as their BRC counterparts.
The overhauled series will take in six events in the UK with a mix of asphalt special stages and gravel tests, pitting the country’s best drivers in the best cars fight, head-to-head for the coveted British Rally Championship title.
