  • The 2025 season will launch at the popular January show
  • BRC will be front and centre as the 2024 champions are crowned on the Autosport Stage
  • Rally2 and Rally4 machinery will be on display as the BRC showcases its 2025 offering

The Probite British Rally Championship (BRC) will officially launch the 2025 season at Autosport International (9-12 January 2025), with a significant presence across the four-day show.

After a successful return to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) based show last January, the British Rally Championship will once again enjoy a large presence, with a flagship display of the current crop of BRC machinery.

The series will also be front and centre during the event, as its 2024 Awards Presentation will take place on the Autosport Stage centrepiece as the series officially crowns its champions, putting the BRC contenders front and centre in front of the large, expected audience.

Joined by title-sponsors Probite, the BRC will take pride of place amongst the iconic cars on display with top-flight Rally2 and Junior BRC category examples.

It’s also hoped to see a host of leading competitors stopping by the stand throughout the show, with possible announcements for yet another spectacular season ahead. Fans, followers and competitors will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the championship’s protagonists and chat with series officials to find out more about the forthcoming season.

Also continuing into next year will be the enhanced media package, including a dedicated one-hour highlights show on ITV4 after each round of the series, broadcast at prime time with further repeat broadcasts and an end-of-season round-up programme. The highlights will also continue to be available on the accompanying online catch-up service ITVX, and the free-to-air TV coverage will have universal reach in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

In a continuation of 2024, the BRC will be open to rally cars conforming to Rally2, Rally3, Rally4 and Rally5 FIA-homologated categories. The top-drawer BRC1 category will see the exciting Rally2 cars do battle at the front of the field; right-hand-drive versions are also accepted.

The Junior BRC will see contenders in Rally4, Rally5 or older specification cars vie for the coveted title, with free entries into each round of the 2026 BRC up for grabs for the champion.

The Motorsport UK National Rally Title and Motorsport UK Open Title for non-homologated cars will also return, allowing those in non-homologated machinery the opportunity to contest BRC events and take advantage of its gravel recce, plus dedicated media coverage.

The series will take in six rounds in the UK with a mix of asphalt special stages and gravel tests, pitting the country’s best drivers in the best cars in a head-to-head duel for the coveted British Rally Championship title.

More information on the schedule of events during the Autosport Show will be announced in the coming weeks across our social media channels.
