Rali Ceredigion Top Shots from Spacesuit Media

We asked our friends at Spacesuit Media for their ‘top shots’ from JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion, and here is what they came up with from the epic three-day International event.

1 – The autograph shot, not just for tennis! Drivers always look at me with confusion before laughing and asking, ‘Wait, you’re serious? I’m not paying for it if this doesn’t come off.’ Alex Stefan
2 – Between the wall and sea. Aberystwyth leaves no room to breathe. Jürgensen passes by with inch-perfect precision, the misty coast watching on. Alex Stefan

3 – Seconds before the start, concentration takes over. Their faces say it all – alert, focused, unshakeably in the zone. Alex Stefan

4 – Umbrellas up, rain pouring down, and Sam Touzel sliding out of the hairpin. In rally, the conditions challenge drivers and spectators alike. Everyone enduring it for the love of the sport, including myself! Alex Stefan

5 – It can be easy to undervalue the efforts of the organisers and marshals. At the end of the day, the event wouldn’t run without these volunteers, so it’s always nice to capture them busy….or taking a rest after the last car. Jordan Gullick
6 – At the ceremonial start Callum Black was living the high life – signing autographs for his fans. Leaving poor Jack (the co-driver) to continue with pacenote prep! Jordan Gullick

7 – Street stage, fans, and Robert Proudlock using every inch of the road! Jordan Gullick

8 – Y Diafol, the Abergwesyn road. An avid road rally fan would never have expected to see a Rally2 car flat across this road. Jordan Gullick

9 – During the Sunday downpour chaos, trying not to interfere with M-Sport mechanics as they rush to change to wets for Romet Jürgensen before the final two stages of the weekend. Jordan Gullick

10 – The one to sum it up. Winner, champagne, trophy and car…with some BRC branding for extra brownie points. Jordan Gullick

11. Those last moments before the stage start – drivers locked in, focused, ready to go. Always a favourite moment to capture. Adam Pigott

12. As the cars rolled to SS2 this moody road section was too good to miss – the sky and reflection made the old lead mine look dramatic. Adam Pigott

13. Meirion Evans’ off on Saturday kept MEM busy. The mechanics didn’t stop, pushing through with focus and determination…as long as you stayed out of their way! Adam Pigott

14. Night service wasn’t on the plan, but the glowing evening sky and the GR Yaris lit up like a spaceship made for a striking shot. Adam Pigott
