In May, the series moves to the Scottish Borders for the first asphalt encounter of the year, the highly-regarded Jim Clark Rally. A long-standing cornerstone of the BRC, the 2026 edition features a revised format while retaining its renowned challenge. With over 100 miles of closed-road stages across Friday night and Saturday, the event tests crews’ precision and commitment across the stunning Berwickshire countryside.

After stepping into the calendar at short notice last season, the Kielder Carlisle Stages has quickly become a firm favorite. For 2026, the event shifts to an endurance-style two-day format in early June, taking crews into the famous Kielder Forest complex at dusk on Friday night. These fast, flowing, and unforgiving gravel stages remain some of the most demanding in the world, providing a brutal test for Britain’s best before the mid-season break.

Following the summer pause, the championship returns to the north-east of Scotland in August for the Voly Grampian Forest Rally. The iconic forests of Clocaenog and Brenig provide a fitting stage for the season’s end, echoing the heritage of Wales Rally GB. With the title often on the line, these historic stages offer a breathtaking backdrop for the BRC contenders to fight it out for the ultimate crown in British Rallying.
